TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas officially welcomed her first grandchild on March 2nd!
Chilli celebrated the joyous milestone when her only child, Tron Austin, and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang brought their daughter, Luna, into the world.
The couple announced the birth on Saturday with an Instagram post from a hospital in Seol, South Korea. They shared that little Luna came with a force, but both she and her mother are doing well today.
Along with several photos, Tron captioned that Jeong “was scheduled” to give birth on March 6. But Luna decided she was ready four days early.
Jeong’s water broke the morning of March 2nd. So the couple grabbed their bags and took the hour-and-a-half drive to the hospital. Once she got there, she faced some complications that sent her into an emergency C-section.
“Our nerves were high and our anxiety was through the roof but despite all of that she powered through and gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl!!” Chill’s son wrote. “I am so beyond proud of her bravery and courage to do this so off guard we literally expected 3 more days but God always has his plan first !”

Jeong and Tron went through a years-long battle with infertility. In a pregnancy announcement, Tron shared that his wife had “2 HSG procedures,1 hysteroscopy, 1 egg retrieval, and 1 miscarriage since they began trying for a baby in 2018. She also had both of her fallopian tubes removed and needed scar tissues cleared from previous hernia & appendicitis surgeries.
“Eternally grateful to say we have officially started our family!” Tron continued in the birth announcement. “This is a dream come true we started dating on September 22, 2018 fast forward almost 6 years later we are married with our first child life’s journey has now truly begun!!!”
