Because of coronavirus restrictions, cancer patient, Gabriella, hasn’t been able to see her friends in person throughout the two months she’s been in the hospital. So, her friends came up with a creative way to see her.
The twelve women, who met Gabriella in a running group 10 years ago, hired a crane, showed up to the hospital with balloons and a sign, and hopped on a platform that raised them up to their friend’s hospital window. While they all would have preferred to get to sit in her room with her and catch up, this was a pretty thoughtful plan B.
