Singer Putri Ariani has had an amazing tenure on this season of America’s Got Talent. She started her journey off by receiving the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell for her performance.
Putri is completely blind but accompanies herself on the piano. She has a deep commitment to music-making, and her passion for performance is palpable.
For the Finale, she sat at a piano wearing a beautiful, jewel-studded hijab, commanding the attention of every judge and audience member.
Putri began playing “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me,” the recognizable tune by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
She was quickly joined by a live choir providing backup vocals. The entire performance was lit brilliantly, shining a light on Putri’s talent and passion.
Putri received a standing ovation from the entire audience, including the judges, for her beautiful performance. Millions of people have now watched the clip of her stunning finale song.
