A recent contestant on “America’s Got Talent” had a very special reason for auditioning. Donovyn Diaz, 20, told the judges that his mom was fighting breast cancer and that he wanted to make her proud. Dancing to “How I Say Goodbye” by Dean Lewis, the young man wowed the audience with his gravity-defying leaps. More importantly, he touched their hearts with his performance!

“People were crying, people felt the emotion,” said judge Howie Mandel. “We weren’t just watching it; we were feeling it.”
All four judges enthusiastically voted Donovyn into the next round. Heidi Klum pointed out that one woman in the audience seemed particularly moved by the audition.
“I think she fell in love with him a little bit,” the judge joked.
