Michael Jackson had millions of fans worldwide. He was an artist whose music seemed to transcend race, gender, age, and religion. There was a time when it felt like the entire world loved Michael, and those days and memories are ones we want to hold onto. The 1980s were a particularly great time for the King of Pop’s music, and the new biopic, Michael, starring Jaafar Jackson, has been a box-office success. Sr. Nancy, a Catholic nun who posts about her life on Instagram, made sure to get to the theatre to see Michael on opening weekend. The photos she shared prove nuns love Michael Jackson, too.

The Nuns Pray for Michael Jackson
Sr. Nancy explained that she’s a huge Michael Jackson fan and went to see the movie with some other nuns. But there was more to her post than just her fandom; the sister shared something very special.
“Don’t listen to the critics who only want to focus on the controversies that plagued Michael when he was alive. It’s a genuine celebration of the extraordinary God-given gifts that one person possessed to such a significant degree. So much so that his art consumed him,” she wrote. “I pray for Michael’s soul and thank the Lord for the joy he brought to me in my youth and continues to bring to me and to the world through his amazing God-given talents.”
Seeing the nuns watch the new Michael Jackson movie made many fans happy.
“Even the sisters love Micheal Jackson now if this don’t show you that M.J was an angel I don’t know what to tell you,” someone wrote.
“Most diverse fan base in the world,” another person added.
It seems the world still loves Michael.
“Beautiful tribute and amazing movie! I love MJ!” A fan cheered.
