After a year and a half of working with Unlimited Tomorrow, Abby Caulk finally got to use her custom bionic arm!
It’s so personalized that she’s had at least six fittings to get everything set up properly. At first, she’ll have to manually make the robotic fingers move by using a button, but she’ll be able to train her prosthesis to move exactly how she wants it to with time and practice.
Needless to say, Abby was beyond thrilled to finally try on her new arm! In a video posted on YouTube, she shared that special moment with her followers. She had never experienced the feeling of holding something in her right hand before, and that truly comes across in how speechless she is over this momentous occasion.
Watch Abby test out her new arm in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story with your friends.
