A Flamin’ Hot Idea: Man Builds Sarcophagus To Preserve Cheetos For Future Discovery.

Picture this: It’s 10,000 years in the future, and you’re an archeologist who’s just unearthed a fascinating find.

As you and your team carefully excavate the site, you discover a massive black sarcophagus in the middle of a remote cow pasture. The sarcophagus is made from reinforced concrete. Inside, a single, solitary snack food bag hangs suspended in a protective resin case.

Bam! You’ve just been punked from beyond the grave!

This elaborate prank is the work of the TikTok creator Sunday Nobody, a self-proclaimed “meme artist.” In a now-viral video, he gave step-by-step instructions for how he created a 3,000-pound sarcophagus all on his own, using a variety of materials, power tools, and products.

Inside the massive box, he placed a single, carefully preserved bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, arguably one of the more popular snack foods of our generation, to preserve it for future posterity.

Sunday Nobody described the lengths he went to in order to ensure the snack survived the intended time underground, which is 10,000 years. He made sure to weather-proof the cement and made adjustments to defend it against erosion, earthquakes, and even an apocalyptic event.

He also etched all of the food’s ingredients, including the unpronounceable ones, on the lid of the sarcophagus, finishing it off with gold leaf.

Once it was finished, he loaded the box up onto a trailer and brought it out to his friend’s farm land. He dug a huge hole, and the next day they wriggled the massive sarcophagus into its new resting place and placed a plaque on top that reads:

“Historical artifact buried below. Do not open for 10,000 years. Year buried 2022.”

It took about $1,100 to complete this inexplicably complicated mission. The brand “Cheetos” and Frito-Lay had nothing to do with the project; it was all the artist’s idea and he footed the entire bill on his own.

Now, that just leaves one last question… why?

We aren’t the only ones with questions! On TikTok, Sunday Nobody’s comment section was filled with strangers expressing their admiration and their incredulity.

“I thought I had been bored many times in my life, but now I’ve realized that I’ve never been truly, genuinely bored, like cheetos-sarcophagus bored,” wrote one person.

“My man is starting a religion in the future,” joked another.

But the question of why still remains, and Sunday Nobody answers that in the comment section as well!

There you have it! He’s just a creative person with a great sense of humor and a lot of free time on his hands. Our only wish is that we could be around in 10,000 years to see the look on the face of whomever discovers that random bag of Cheetos!

Watch the entire sarcophagus journey in the video below, and don’t forget to share.
