When an artist has a child, she decides to do something to make her newborn’s life more interesting. To understand, it is helpful to know a little about Helena Elias. She randomly paints small pictures on her furniture to see how long it takes her husband to notice the embellishments. There are tiny paintings all around her home. With the arrival of their son, the mom is creating special paintings near the baseboards for her son to find.

The creative mom says the idea is that when her son begins to crawl, he will have fun finding the festive paintings. The blue dragon rests on a small green hillside with flowers growing nearby. The bright colors will be attractive, although he may not appreciate the dragon until a bit later.
Her next creation is a pair of foxes touching noses. The parent with the cub is sitting with their back out, sharing a gentle moment. They are placed under a window and may be partially obscured by the drapes.
The industrious mom has added a painting of a narwhal to the side of a shelf near the floor. Helena has painted tiny things throughout the entire house. Cabinet doors are festooned with flowers blooming forever, and murals adorn larger walls.
