Midwest Chicken Shore is a small family farm somewhere in Wisconsin. Like many people living on a small piece of land in a rural area, they decided to get a farm animal or two. The husband decided their farm animals would be ten chickens. Ten? Let’s check in on the happy country couple and see how those ten chickens are doing.

How many did you count? If the husband counted more than ten farm animals, he might want to take a chicken math counting class. She seems much better at counting to ten, at least when the counting involves farm animals. It’s chicken math, roll with it.

The funniest part of this little farm adventure is that they were having trouble reaching 10,000 social media followers. For content creators, that hurdle must be crossed to qualify for bonus money. After posting her poor husband surrounded by their ten chickens, the goats, the cats, and more cats… the post went viral because of his face.

This family is an actual farm, as opposed to a hobby farm. While they have many animals, each one serves a specific purpose. The chickens lay eggs, and the goats provide milk. The kittens provide entertainment and rodent control services. On a hobby farm, most of the critters are pets.

The kids are growing up learning about animal care and chores while having a great childhood. The husband helps care for the animals. It’s a win-win for everyone… despite what the husband’s facial expressions say.

If you are interested in chicken math, please follow Midwest Chicken Shore on TikTok. You’ll be able to talk your own husband into a “few” farm animals in no time!
