PGA Champion’s Young Son Captured Achieving Heartwarming Developmental Milestone

Scottie Scheffler is no stranger to capturing a crowd’s attention. Since 2018, this professional golfer has won 15 tournaments. One of his more recent victories took place at Quail Hollow Club. Both his wife, Meredith, and their son, Bennett, were there to cheer him on! That said, at one point, they got a bit distracted — and for an exciting reason!

Turns out, little Bennett had an accomplishment of his own that he was determined to achieve. While Dad set out to play a winning game of golf, Bennett wanted to stand for the very first time. Luckily, they were both successful! See baby Bennett stand for the first time in the wholesome video below.

Every baby reaches milestones in their own time. Parents can never know when their little one will do something new like stand or walk. That can make capturing these moments on camera pretty tricky. In this case, however, Meredith didn’t have to worry at all about taking her camera out — there was no shortage of camera operators nearby who were more than ready to put Bennett in the spotlight!

That same day, Scottie secured his third championship victory. In other words, there’s no doubt that day will always be very special for the Scheffler family! Now, let’s see if Bennett can manage to get his first steps during another one of Dad’s big games…
