“When I’m Trying To Fold Laundry And ‘Phantom’ Starts Playing From My Husband’s Shower”

A woman stands next to a bed full of laundry. She holds a shirt in her hand, but she's looking off to the side. She's smiling and her mouth agape because she's impressed.

Chores might be one of the worst parts about being an adult. The laundry and dishes are never really complete, after all. That said, it helps a lot to find ways to make these chores more entertaining, like playing music or listening to an audiobook. A woman who goes by Mrs. Buttner online, however, has something the rest of us do not: proximity to her husband’s shower singing.

Not everyone can sound like a superstar when singing in the shower. Luckily for Mrs. Buttner, her husband is a rare exception. His singing voice is so incredible, in fact, sharing this fact has garnered them quite a few followers online. Experience one of his breathtaking shower performances in the video below! In this one, he’s singing a song from Phantom of the Opera.

@mrs.buttner My husband decided to distract me from doing laundry by singing #phantomoftheopera in the shower today. I realized it’s been 6 months since his first video singing. #phantomoftheshower #husbandsinging #singingintheshower ♬ original sound – Mrs. Buttner

When This Man Starts Singing in the Shower, His Wife Knows She’ll Get Distracted… but She Doesn’t Mind

Whether you’re the one singing or enjoying the show, music is such a fun way to make any activity a little more enjoyable. That said, as Mrs. Buttner points out, there are some downsides to her husband singing. It can make doing laundry more fun, but it can also be quite distracting.

In the end, it’s still safe to say that she would take getting distracted over not hearing her husband sing every single time! Folks online who consider themselves to be fans certainly understand why that’s the case.

“Free concert while doing laundry? I might do more laundry if it came with free Phantom music…” someone admits in the comments, another person adding, “Okay he HIT that Soprano though! It takes a lot of practice to hit it and keep it even for women. His voice is absolutely stunning. I’d be distracted too.”
