The first kid is the test run. Parents handle new babies with care, schedule feedings and diaper changes, and wrap them in bubble wrap. The second kid is a little more lax. Feedings might still be scheduled, but that diaper can wait until someone passes out from asphyxiation. By the third kid, parents are fighting over whose turn it is to buy diapers because you’re about to use the last one. When the fourth kid arrives, there is a mom hack for everything.
