Like many kids, Luke wasn’t very consistent with washing his hands. Though, in that video, he was very adamant that these were simply rumors… not that Ashley was buying it. In the end, though, this was not a rule breaker. Or, at the very least, they didn’t officially get together until Luke learned a thing or two about basic hygiene.
