Huang’s paintings are so lifelike that they seem to bend air as he creates his half-paintings in various landscapes. He doesn’t limit his talents to landscapes. He made a fierce tiger jumping through a tree with a sheet of paper and a tree trunk. The tree’s center disappears as the tiger materializes, creating the illusion of the tiger jumping through the tree.
Originally from Chenzou, China, Huang Yao is a 36-year-old 3-dimensional artist with incredible talent. During an interview with Modern Express, he explained the complexity of blending environmental elements into his paintings, including cloud movement and changing background elements.
Although he says he has painted since early childhood, he didn’t begin focusing on what he calls levitation-themed optical illusions until 2020. His initial experiments in the style were good enough to warrant additional practice. It is safe to say that he has honed the art of camouflage painting to perfection.
Huang Yao has created a lifelike painting of an enormous pig on a wall that comes to life as a local cat inspects the progress. A raging bull comes to life under the watchful eyes of a different kitty quality assurance inspector. The bull seems to jump out at passersby. The artist is an expert at creating backgrounds that perfectly match real life.
