Artist Kori has been a painter for 20 years. One day on a nature walk, she stopped to create something unique using only “found” supplies. Her medium became leaves, twigs, bark, grasses, rocks, and other detritus found on the ground. The results were stunning, and Kori began working with these materials more frequently. Kori describes herself as a Wildlife Nature Artist. Among her unique talents are leaf-wrangler, aspiring travel artist, and twig tamer. Kori’s first creation was a deer. Although the actual artwork vanishes as decomposition sets in, Kori preserves each creation.
Once all the twigs and rocks are in place and the artwork is perfect, Kori takes professional-quality images. Litho prints of each unique piece are available on Etsy.
