95-Yr-Old Veteran Returns To Dance Floor Where He Met His Wife In 1949.

A two-photo collage. The first is a black and white photo of a woman and a man in a military uniform dancing together. The second shows that same man, now 95-years-old, smiling as he poses with two young women. He’s at the venue where him and his wife first met.

Certain smells, music, and places will always hold a special place in our hearts, no matter how much time has passed. For Kevin Topham, one of those places is the venue where he met his late wife, who passed away in 2018. The two of them first met on the dance floor in 1949. From that fateful moment, they went on to be married for 66 years.

It’s been five years since Molly passed away, but it’s clear that the 95-year-old veteran still thinks of her often. In fact, when he heard that the venue where they met was being reopened, he couldn’t wait to visit. Luckily, his caregiver was more than happy to go dancing with him.

Wanting the day to be special, Kevin wore a suit featuring his military medals. Based on the smile on this sweet 95-year-old’s face, it’s clear he had a great time. Now, the venue is even considering throwing monthly events for folks over 60 years old!

Watch Kevin dance where he and Molly met all those years ago in the video below.
