90s-Inspired Boy Band Wins Over “The Voice” Judge Within Seconds Of Their Audition.

A two-photo collage. The first shows Rita Orta on “The Voice (AU).” Her mouth is open from shock as her hand hovers over the red button to turn her judge’s chair around. The second photo shows a five-member boy-band performing, all of which are dressed in 90s inspired clothes.

There are certain songs where, as soon as you hear them, there’s an instant connection. This is the exact experience all four judges had in “The Voice (AU),” Australia’s version of this popular singing competition. The band Overnight had a classic 90s song up their sleeves, and it took literal seconds for the judges to turn around.

Dressed for the part, Overnight did their own version of “Larger Than Life” by the Backstreet Boys. Taking on such an iconic song by a beloved boy band might sound intimidating, but these five young men seemed to effortlessly take on the challenge.

Rita Ora was the first judge to turn around, doing so nearly as soon as the band began to sing. From there, Jason Derulo, Guy Sebastian, and Jessica Mauboy followed suit. It’s not easy to get all four judges to turn around, but thanks to their perfect harmonies and choregraphed dancing, Overnight was able to do just that.

Watch Overnight’s iconic throwback to the 90s in the video below.
