81-Year-Old Besties Take Life-Changing Trip Around The World In 80 Days

When you’re young, it can be easy to believe that getting older means no longer having fun. On the contrary, the consensus seems to be that the older we get, the better we understand ourselves, what we want, and what we need. Plus, it’s a lot easier to not take everything so seriously. That’s why, in many ways, life has only just begun for friends Ellie and Sandy. Together, they went on a trip around the world… and they did so in their 80s!

Without any children in their homes and both of their spouses gone, life for Ellie and Sandy suddenly looked a lot different. Luckily, that’s when the two met and became fast friends.
