Carmella

Sometimes waking up and preparing ourselves for work feels like such a chore. For us ladies, that can make hair and makeup in addition to choosing our outfit of the day. There are days when we barely make it out the door, and a 76-year-old woman named Carmella is positively putting us to shame. Her coworker, Tatum, shared videos of Carmella on TikTok, and she went viral for all the right reasons.

“What first struck me about Carmela’s style was how effortlessly cool it is, stylish in a way that feels completely timeless,” Tatum told People. “Her style is incredible, but it’s really her energy and personality that make it so special, and I just wanted to share that with the world.”

Carmella Loves to Get Dressed Up

Well into her 70s, Carmella loves to put together a stunning outfit.

“I would describe my style as confident, polished, and unapologetically bold,” she told People.

Carmella only recently went viral, but Tatum told People she’s been an office icon forever. Her style inspired her coworkers to change the way they dress for work, too. Tatum said that everyone at PureLife Dental looks forward to Carmella’s “look of the day.”

Carmella attributes her style to how she feels about herself in this stage of her life.

“Getting dressed at 76 is an act of self-respect and joy,” Carmella said. “Never let age dictate your confidence.”

TikTokers love Carmella’s style.

They immediately honed in on her shoes.

“Her heels OMG,” someone commented.

“Noting for next years Coachella heels??” Another person added.

“Who is this diva !!!” Someone demanded to know.

Others called it as they saw it.

“Omg so iconic,” a fan wrote.

We are so envious of Carmella’s style and need all the tips.
