As humans, we use our clothing as a way to express ourselves, with some of us opting for a style with lots of color or cool patterns. Our animals friends, on the other hand, don’t really have this option. Well, unless you count folks who dress up their pets. In any case, most wildlife animals aren’t expressing themselves through clothes — what they do have, though, are their naturally mind-blowing colors and patterns.
If you’re an animal lover, you already know that there are some creatures who look particularly stunning. Still, even those who fall under that category may have never seen animals quite like this — here are six wildlife photos I’ve gathered that are sure to leave you in awe.
1. I’m usually not a fan of bugs, but this spiny flower mantis’ colorful patterns are too mind-blowing to not love!
2. Blue snakes are super rare. This adorable little guy is a blue pit viper!
3. This baby zebra looks cool with their polka dot pattern.
4. Despite their name, the common starling, this gorgeous bird’s colors and patterns are anything but!
5. Albinism caused the color of this raven’s feathers to be beautiful shades of white.
6. And the award for most unusual animal goes to….
Alright, we admit: This one is photoshopped. Still, this guy makes for a fun fantasy creature!
It’s wild to think about the fact that our world is full of mind-blowing creatures, many of which we’ve never even seen before. It’s a good thing there are so many talented photographers who are happy to share the amazing animals they capture on camera!
