Parents celebrate their child’s first birthday even though the child will likely not remember the day. When it came time to celebrate Baker’s first memorable day, his Mom, Caitlyn Glass, wanted something to show him later. As a 5th-grade teacher, Miss Glass enlisted her students’ help, asking each to draw a silly goose.

She documented the drawings in a slideshow on TikTok and will keep them to show her son when he is older. If she were crafty, she could put them all in a scrapbook. There are also book-binding services. They use a scan of each image to create a special, professionally bound book. Let’s look at some of the drawings.

Miss Glass included comments with each drawing. These first two used the same base picture, but the unique additions and coloring make each stand out.

The creative student who drew the left picture added a scooter. He was thoughtful about safety and included a helmet. The drawing on the right shows a silly goose wearing a propeller beanie. These kids have some talent.

Each drawing is unique and displays items that will make you smile. The students poured their heart and soul into creating this fantastic keepsake for their teacher’s son. Some address Baker by name while others just display the artist’s name.

One traditional silly goose with a bow and a special message for Baker, like he just stepped in from Grandma’s front porch. The very muscular duck is imaginative and “Very fitting,” according to Miss Glass’ comment.

It is fun to see the variations from one student to the next, especially the student who felt the silly goose needed a car.
