2,000 Soldiers Stand Side-By-Side For Moving Worship Song.

It was a poignant and powerful scene for anyone fortunate enough to be sitting in the stands during the Easter Sunday service at Fort Benning, Georgia. Lucky for us, one attendee shared one of the most moving moments.

Jenny Reese Clark attended the April 1 service at the Army base’s Doughboy Stadium and was so moved during one particular moment that she couldn’t help but share it on her Facebook page for others who couldn’t see it in person.

For nearly two minutes, the camera pans a sea of thousands of men and women dressed in Army fatigues as they sing “Reckless Love,”released last year by Christian musician Cory Asbury.

And oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me

Another attendee later reported that 225 of the soldiers “gave their hearts to Jesus”during the morning’s service.

Watch the video below to see this incredibly powerful scene for yourself.

Don’t forget to share to spread thanks to these brave men and women for their dedication and service.
