Like many parents, London-based Dad, author, and illustrator Rob Biddulph likes to stick a note in his kid’s lunch box to brighten her school day. But this dad takes his personal notes to the next level.

It all started when his daughter, Poppy, began school at age 4. “Up until that point, she had been going into a nursery just for the mornings,” Rob told Huffington Post, “so staying on for lunch was a BIG deal.” Little Poppy was nervous about spending an entire day at school, so the family nanny came up with the idea of having Rob “draw a little picture for [Poppy] on a Post-it note. They would then hide it in her lunchbox to cheer her up when she opened it.”
Now, it’s become a daily ritual. Rob’s #PackedLunchPostIt notes have been going to school with Poppy for three years, and Rob recently began sharing his daily creation with the world through his Instagram.
