14-Yr-Old Wins Gold Buzzer With Beautiful Song Turned Tribute To Her Family.

Children learn by example. If their parents show affection and respect for each other, their kids will try to model that behavior in their own lives.

A 14-year-old singer named Shea from Vancouver, Canada, grew up in a loving household with two parents who cared deeply for one another. Although her father travels a lot for work, they have found that absence really does make the heart grow fonder!

When Shea got her big break on “Canada’s Got Talent,” she chose a song that reflected the love in her family. “Like My Father” was written by Jax, but the moment Shea started singing she completely owned the song. It’s about the love shared by a couple just like Shea’s parents, and her voice is perfectly suited to the cadence. By the time she’d finished singing, the whole crowd was cheering on their feet.

Judge Howie Mandel was shocked to find out how young Shea is, telling her, “You have the poise of somebody twice your age.” But it was her incredible voice that really won him over. In fact, he was so impressed that he used his Golden Buzzer to advance Shea on to the next round of the competition!

Watch Shea’s beautiful tribute to her family and exciting Golden Buzzer win below, and don’t forget to share.
