1 Big Feline Family! 34 Cats Surrendered From The Same House Need Furever Homes.

A two-photo collage. The first is of three kittens, eyes wide with curiosity, slowly approaching the person taking the photo. A fourth cat's ears can be seen peaking out at the bottom right of the photo. The second is of a fluffy cat lying down, looking comfy, as another cat sits next to them.

Last week, Pueblo, Colorado suddenly became inundated with insanely adorable kittens and cats ready to meow their way into the hearts of their new families – 34 of them, to be exact!

Based on that number, you might think that these felines were strays or came from several different homes. On the contrary, they all came from the same family, according to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR).

The feline-filled family contacted their local Humane Society’s Animal Law Enforcement team in hopes they could help with their problem. As much as they adored their animal friends, it was time for them to move, and they weren’t able to bring them along.

The family tried their best to rehome the cats themselves, but they didn’t have any luck. When it became clear they couldn’t do this alone, they reached out – and the Humane Society was more than happy to lend a hand!

You may be wondering what condition these cats were in, considering how many of them were living in one place, but Officer Sardello, who responded to the call, can confirm that they very much enjoyed living with a huge family!

“We could tell this family cared deeply about every single [one] of their feline friends because they are all happy, healthy, friendly, and nearly ready to find new homes,” the Humane Society shared on their Facebook page. “We just need room in our adoption center for them!”

Because the Pueblo area already had a large number of felines looking for new homes, the Humane Society is especially encouraging locals in search of a new cat to consider taking in one of their precious ones, all of which can be found on their website.

“So please, tell all the cat lovers in your life, share to your Facebook page and community groups, and help us help these cats!” they added in their post.

Look at those irresistibly adorable faces! We can’t wait for each of them to find their furever homes!

Watch the video below to see more of these sweet kittens in action, and don’t forget to share to help them find their next family!
