Pink Reveals Touching Reason She Keeps Her Hair Short, In Emotional Tribute To Daughter.

Any grown woman can remember a time they thought they were ugly. Hopefully, somewhere along the way, they were told the opposite or found their beauty on their own.

When multi-platinum singer Pink was driving with her six-year-old daughter one day, her heart dropped because of something she said.

Willow told her mom that she felt ugly.

The six-year-old is gorgeous both inside and out, but for some reason, didn’t believe that. Willow said, “I look like a boy with long hair.”

Pink’s mind immediately began to race: “You’re six … Where is this coming from?” But instead of telling her little girl that she was beautiful, Pink did something incredible.

Throughout her career, Pink has remained true to her signature look. She’s always kept her hair short, sporting pink and blonde locks, bouffants, mohawks, and more.

So when she was confronted with these words from her young girl’s mouth, she was shocked. “Well, what do you think I look like?” she asked her six-year-old.

Pink pondered the reason she keeps her look the same – it’s because that’s just who she is. She explained to her little girl that she refuses to change herself to accommodate others. Instead, she said, “we help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty.”
