We’ve shared some beautiful proposal story with you. There was this surprise proposal at a Beauty and the Beast performance, this tear-jerking Up-themed proposal, and this proposal which came with a tiny puppy, just to name a few. But the proposal below is particularly adorable– and hilarious– because it features an elementary-school girl who got a big surprise!
The video below doesn’t show the actual moment young Tommy asked Millie to be his wife, but it does show the aftermath… After Millie came home and told her dad the good news, he whipped out his camera and filmed his reaction to Millie’s story. Like any dad, he isn’t too keen on giving his daughter away… but his issue is not with Millie fiancé, it’s with the ring!
“Like anyone we was expecting the Haribo ring,” says Dad as Mom laughs hysterically in the background, “Millie, can you just go and get the ring that Tommy proposed to you with today, please?” When Millie returns, Mom’s laughter only increases and Dad reveals a stunning ring with real diamonds!
“Tommy has stolen his mother’s engagement ring– three enormous diamonds– and proposed to Millie!” Dad explains.
