Every person who chooses to go skydiving understands the potential dangers involved. (Like this man who expertly saved himself from a tangled-up parachute, for example.) The same is true for Pepper Mills who, admittedly, is “NOT a fan of heights.” She also hates flying. So, what could have possibly convinced her to skydive? The opportunity to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

In order to bring in money for this good cause, Pepper agreed to jump from 15,000 feet. While she was absolutely terrified, she was also excited. Plus, she couldn’t wait to see how her photos would turn out! But absolutely nothing could have prepared her for the skydive mishap that would lead to her photos being oh-so funny. First, let’s check out her dive in the video below.
@peppermills3 Stop I Cannot😭 Genuinely the best £120 I’ve ever spent was on the photo&vid package. I’ve been howling ever since – I’m so glad these moments are on camera I’m WHEEZING I’ll never have another bad day again knowing this exists #skydive #flappyskin #lostmegoggles #turnedintoadementor ♬ GO KYLIE GO – xkqliex
If you blink, you just might miss the moment that caused Pepper to briefly fear for her life. Her goggles slipped right off her face, tried as she might to keep them on. Luckily, the goggles didn’t tear a hole in the parachute like she feared. This moment did, however, add to the hilarious facial expressions Pepper was already making.

“Sorry this is comedy gold,” someone admits in reply to Pepper’s misfortune, with another adding, “I just wonder if the person who took the photos is low key dying the whole time from not being able to laugh at what’s happening. I know it happens quickly, but still.”

“To be fair the paranoia about the goggles is valid,” a third person points out, echoing how many others feel as well.

Thankfully, this minor mishap didn’t ruin the skydiving experience. In fact, Pepper says she still had a blast. Best of all, she majorly surpassed her goal of raising £400 by garnering an impressive £938. (That’s nearly $1,200!)
“I have never been more humbled,” Pepper writes in a social media post full of hilarious photos like the ones above. “… It was the BEST experience despite the pics & I’d highly recommend to anyone who’s considering it!!”
