Katya Hughes is a TikTok influencer. More accurately, Katya’s goats are TikTok celebrities. The self-proclaimed “Girl with the Goats” raises goats, alpacas, and other farm animals. She is also an artist and the owner of Red Brick Studio. They recently installed a trampoline in the goat pasture with excellent, and not wholly unexpected, results.

There was a bit of ruckus at first, but one goat quickly took control of the trampoline. That would be Ginger, who Katya’s children named. As Ginger reigned on the bouncy surface, challengers lined up to take their chances against the territorial goat. The line of challengers decided on some WWF-style shenanigans and began double-teaming the champion.
That tactic was unsuccessful, and Head Goat Ginger continues to control access to the trampoline. Life isn’t all fun and games for these hoppy goats. There are formal dinners to attend. When Katya, a five-star goat chef, prepares a feast for the animals, they pull out all the stops. They get a tablecloth, plates, and a multi-course meal with all the good stuff.
They did not seem very appreciative of the effort it took to prepare the fantastic meal. They knocked their plates off the table and acted like barbarians instead of the refined goats they were supposed to be. Their ungrateful behavior led to Katya dumping one of the courses out of a bucket, not caring if it landed on a plate.
Evidently, the goats were trying to eat in a hurry to get back to the trampoline to try to beat Ginger. Once you spoil them with the joys of jumping, they want no part of cultured, civilized life again. No matter how hard you try, goats are gonna be goats.
