Turkey Dad Learns Hard Lesson About The Curiosity Of Kiddos In Silly Vid

Image shows a turkey dad dealing with a curious baby turkey.

Parenting is hard, and humans understand that. That thought holds true when it is transferred to the animal kingdom. Perhaps no animal understands that better than this poor turkey dad. He’s just standing there minding his own business when his offspring comes along and ruins his day.

Poor Jakey turkey had his snood hanging a little too low and the baby thought it would be his next meal! #hunting #turkeyhunting #turkeyseason #strutting #snood

If you said “Ouch” watching that, you are not alone. If you broke out in a chorus of, “Does your snood hang low? Does it wobble to and fro?” You are likewise not alone. And now you have an earworm that will carry you through the day. You’re welcome.

Tommy is not necessarily a “nice” turkey. He got out the other day, and it took 30 minutes to walk him back home. The entire time, he was voicing his displeasure at the situation.

Tommy the turkey went on a day long visit to the neighbors and when it was finally time to come home it took 30 mins to walk him back. He was so sassy and sitting the entire time. #turkey #turkeytiktok #turkeyhunting #hunting

They might not be much fun as adults, but baby turkeys are a hoot. They begin strutting their stuff at a young age, before their tail feathers come in. Tom is out in the yard teaching them to hiss and spit. At least this turkey dad is taking a claws-on approach to parenting.

These little hatchlings can’t fly yet, but that doesn’t keep them from going airborne. All you have to do is dangle a little worm, and they instantly become Michael Jordan going for the dunk.

Contrary to popular belief, even a turkey does not appreciate dad jokes. Some turkeys get confused about their true nature and seek love in odd places. Turkeys can be territorial even when they don’t own the property.

Whether you are in the “Pardon the poor turkeys” camp or can’t wait to sink your teeth into that perfectly roasted leg, you must admit that turkeys can be hilarious.
