He swapped out the normal engine for the snow plow and ran the train around the track. The plow handily removed the snow from the track along the entire fence line. Matt’s track runs along the entire side of his yard on a track parallel to the fence. At each end, he has installed a loop, so the train can run continuously whenever he is entertaining.

Although Matt’s train isn’t as fancy as this model train world, it is still pretty impressive. The way Matt has integrated his train setup into his backyard decor is truly amazing. Matt has added other innovations to his train system, including a beer delivery train. He also delivers beer to his neighbor via a handy trebuchet.

Matt describes himself as a “maker of mostly ridiculous and unnecessary things.”

Most people would describe him as a master carpenter. He designed and built a poolside soda dispenser. He has reenacted the famous train scene from Back to the Future, complete with a model DeLorean outfitted with a Flux Capacitor.
