Tim Tebow Gives Homeless Stranger Shoes Off His Feet In Beautiful Act Of Kindness.

Tim Tebow may have retired from his career in the NFL, but he never stopped trying to equal the playing field for others. Working with the Tim Tebow Foundation, the Heisman Trophy winner is looking to bring “faith, hope, and love” to people in need.

In October 2020, he traveled to St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix, Arizona, to visit people experiencing homelessness. He brought 50 pairs of new shoes with him to give to the shelter’s residents, but when he got there, he realized he didn’t have enough for everyone. That’s when the professional athlete did something outstanding: He took off his own shoes and gave them to someone as he left the building!

Tebow also asked for a list of people who didn’t get a new pair of shoes at the event. Later that same day, he sent them all their own kicks!

Steve Zabilski, St. Vincent de Paul’s CEO, called Tim a “super hero” for his efforts to give back to his community. “His actions off the field are as impressive as any last-minute touchdown pass or game-winning home run,” he added. “I think we all can agree on that.”

We definitely do! Tebow is making the world a better place by truly walking the walk – with or without his shoes.
