Never judge a book by its cover!
During the first week of auditions for “Britain’s Got Talent” season 12, the judges met lots of interesting performers. One couple stood out, but not for their terrific personalities – because they were so incredibly dull! Sascha Williams and his fiancée, Stephanie Nock, didn’t have much to say to the judges before beginning their act.

Even though judge David Walliams did his best to draw them out, asking, “Could you try and help me out a bit to make it a bit more interesting?” they appeared almost bored to be there.
Speaking of bored… the judges are practically glancing at their watches, waiting for the audition to be over.

When asked if he is excited to be on BGT, Sascha just gazes off and sighs! Needless to say, the judges’ expectations were not very high as the two performers took their positions on stage.
“Well this isn’t going great,” Simon Cowell says dismissively
And then the act begins, and the whole mood changes.

As Stephanie throws objects up to Sascha, who’s perched high up on a metal platform, Sascha stacks a board on top of a cylinder and starts to do a skateboard-like movement. The audience instantly gasps, and Simon makes this hilarious face:

While loud music blares, Sascha’s frenetic movements take your breath away as he climbs higher and higher atop increasingly precarious structures.

The judges are literally cringing as Sascha’s performance becomes more and more death-defying. This guy is nuts!

Teetering at least 20 feet in the air, the whole audience holds its breath as Sascha seems poised to fall flat on his face! The whole tower of unsteady objects starts to tilt and falter, and everyone is literally on the edge of their seats.

We won’t spoil what happens next for you, but it should comfort you to know that Sascha did not die. Not only that but his whole “boring couple” routine was just an act – they’re actually super excited to be there!

“I was not expecting that,” Simon said afterward. “That was probably the most exciting two minutes we’ve ever had on ‘Britain’s Got Talent,'” David agreed.
With four “yes” answers from the judges, this is one act we won’t mind seeing lots more of as the talent show progresses.
