“‘Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. A 10/10 baby (so far). Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering,” he wrote.
Goldie joins big sister, Wednesday, whom the couple welcomed in 2020. The Harry Potter alum shared a photo holding his first daughter, captioned, “Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupe.”
Rupert Grint Isn’t Much For Social Media But Proudly Shared His Baby
In the nearly five years since joining Instagram, Rupert Grint has posted only a handful of times but made an exception for baby Goldie. The sweet, tiny girl wore a onesie embroidered with her name and a grey sweater. We didn’t see her face, but she looked as though she might be a redhead like her Dad. Of course, Harry Potter fans couldn’t wait to share their excitement in the comment section.
“Red hair and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley,” a fan joked.
This person agreed, “Ahh, another Weasley. I know just what to do with you, Gryffindor!!”
“Another Weasley, eh? better be GRYFFINDOR!! Congratsssss,” a fan wrote with another vote for Gryffindor.
Rupert Grint tagged Alex Digesu in the post announcing the birth of his baby. The doctor replied with a sweet message to the couple.
“Dear Rupert and Giorgia,” he wrote. “Delivering Goldie and Wednesday has been a privilege for me. You are such a wonderful couple and a beautiful family. Being your obstetrician and looking after Georgia during both [pregnancies] has been an enjoyable and unforgettable journey. Impossible to forget you all! Congratulations and a big hug. From the bottom of my heart. Alex.”
