TV host Maury Povich has lent a hand to the Denver Zoo to announce the paternity results of an orangutan born in the zoo.
Maury Povich is best known for hosting intense and emotional paternity segments on The Maury Show. While these segments are typically dramatic and over-the-top, the Denver Zoo edition was simply celebratory!
After a young orangutan named Siska was born in the Denver Zoo, the paternity was a bit up-in-the-air. The baby was either the child of Berani or Jaya. While both are brilliant candidates for fatherhood… only one could be the dad!
Maury took out his famous manila folder and, donned in a tuxedo, read the results of baby Siska’s paternity test.
Berani, you are the father!
The Denver Zoo staff’s reaction was adorable, as the support team responded with claps and cheers. What a fun way to celebrate a new family at the Denver Zoo!
“This is great!! Congrats Berani. So happy to know you are a dad again! We love your almost 1-year-old grandson, Roux, here at Audubon Zoo,” commented one fan with a personal connection to Berani.
