Jenna Bush Hager Said Her Daughters Are Ready To Retire
Jenna Bush Hager shared a funny story about her daughters from the night before the broadcast. She’d been at an event with Hoda Kotb that Henry wanted the family to attend, but the girls said, “No.” Hal was there to support his mom, and when Jenna got home, she heard fighting and wondered what was happening.
Mila approached her mom and made a bold announcement. Jenna shared the funny exchange.
“I don’t want to do this anymore,” Mila said.
“Do what?” Jenna asked.
“Every time ya’ll have some stupid holiday, your producers are like, ‘Hey!’” Mila ranted. “And then I have to put on mascara ’cause I’m in seventh grade. I just don’t want to look bad on TV, OK?”
Jenna then told Mila she was off the hook, but she assured her she would do it one “last time” for her mom.
The video of Jenna Bush Hager’s daughters clearly shows that Mila is giving it her all for her mother before bowing out for good. Fans loved it.
“She is definitely George Bush’s granddaughter! He does the exact same look, a fan wrote.
“When they get older and see this, they will be crying laughing. Your story with it had me lol,” another person predicted.
This wise fan pointed out that Jenna Bush Hager’s daughters have it easy compared to her adolescence.
“You should say, ‘Welcome to my world. My father was the freaking PRESIDENT!!’” They joked.
