Kelly Clarkson is a very busy woman. Not only does she perform, but she also hosts a talk show, has a record label, writes music, and cares for her two children as a single mom. It makes us tired just thinking about it. Kelly’s set to head to Las Vegas this summer for a new residency, and her new album is dropping in June. Rumor has it she may be ready to hang up her talk show host shoes, and Hoda Kotb might try them on.

“If the album doesn’t do well, she might want to keep her talk show,” a source told the New York Post. “But she has a lot going on, and the timing may be right for the next chapter.”

But don’t get too excited. Hoda Kotb recently stopped by the Today Show on May 28. And she made it very clear she’s not going to be stepping into Kelly Clarkson’s shoes.
“Do y’all think — I want to ask y’all a real question — do you think if I ever came back to TV, do you know where the only place I would ever come back to is?” Hoda said. “Right here. This is the spot.”
Savannah Guthrie teased Hoda about how she’d fit at the Kelly Clarkson Show.
“I thought you were because I know you’ve been playing your guitar and singing a lot lately, and I thought you were ready for some Hodaoke,” referencing the uber-popular Kellyoke segment.
Kelly’s recent performance on Just Missed The Train on Kellyoke put a lot of fans into their feels.
“Literally my favourite song off of Thankful. I can’t believe she’d even remember its existence, let alone serve these vocals all these years later,” a fan wrote.
“This one’s for the ones who’ve been there since day 1,” another wrote.
