Taylor Riggs is now a mom to two little girls. The Fox Business host and her husband, Bryan Kolterman, welcomed their daughter, Louisa Adeline, on July 18. Louisa joins big sister Rodell, and the family of four couldn’t be more excited.

“I couldn’t be happier to be a mom of two girls,” Taylor Riggs told People. “Growing up, I had two older sisters, so I’m really excited to have two daughters. I know the special bond that sisters have with each other, and I can’t wait to watch my daughters grow up and have the same bond with each other. Being a wife and a mom is one of the most special gifts I’ve been given.”
Taylor Riggs Gave Birth In The Backseat Of Her Lyft
Taylor Riggs told People she and her husband wanted their girls’ names to be special.
“We love family names,” she shared. “We named her Louisa after my husband’s grandfather, whose name was Louis. Adeline is my daughter’s great, great, great, great-grandmother, born in 1823. My husband’s great-grandmother was named Adelina.”
Louisa, whose name means “warrior,” lived up to the moniker from the beginning. Taylor Riggs was on her way to the hospital in a Lyft, but got stuck in New York City traffic. Louisa wasn’t waiting.
“I am so grateful for my doula, Tymaree, who delivered my baby in the backseat and helped make sure Louisa was safe, breathing, and warm until we arrived,” Taylor said. “I’m really also grateful for my husband, who remained calm while calling the hospital ahead of time to tell them we were coming in very hot, also calling 911, and running through the front doors of the hospital when we arrived to tell them, ‘My wife just gave birth in a car. The baby is in the car.'”
Taylor gave “a huge thanks” to the hospital staff before giving “a big shout-out to the Lyft driver.”
“He was very calm under pressure, tried to avoid the potholes, but was also trying to get us to the hospital as quickly as he could,” she shared. “He’ll always be a special part of our story.”
