Nanny Cam Captures Adorable 2-Yr-Old Climbing Out Of Bed To Cuddle With Canine BFF.

Finn Knudtson of Richmond, Virginia, has a perfectly comfortable bed, but if 4-year-old Brutus isn’t on it, he’s not interested.

Ever since the toddler was born, his canine BFF has rarely left his side. Day or night, they can always be found together – even when they’re sleeping!

Paige, Finn’s mom, was 20 weeks pregnant when she found out her son had a heart defect. Fortunately, the doctors caught it in time, and the infant underwent his first corrective surgery at just 11 days old. Seven weeks and another surgery later, his parents got the all-clear to leave the hospital.

“Once we got home it was as if Brutus just knew Finn needed some extra close monitoring, and he has been by his side ever since,” Paige said.

After Finn transitioned into his own bed, he and Brutus developed a sweet nightly routine. Either Brutus jumps up to cuddle on the 2-year-old’s bed, or Finn climbs down to Brutus’.

Paige documents these “Finn and Brutus chronicles” with plenty of adorable pictures, but perhaps the best example of their relationship was captured by the family’s nanny camera in the middle of the night.

On July 3, Paige had just tucked Finn back into bed after noticing he was out and about. Of course, as soon as she left, he sneaked out again!

His mom was watching from her phone, but she didn’t stop him. She knew exactly what he was doing and wanted to record his precious antics!

In a video, we see the little boy get up with his blanket in hand. For the next five minutes, he proceeds to climb all over a very patient Brutus, searching for the perfect spot to get cozy in the dog’s bed.

While Paige couldn’t exactly say she was surprised, she explained that seeing the two of them so happy together never gets old.

“Whether it’s in the dog bed, Finn’s bed, or the floor – the two always sleep together,” she told The Dodo. And they wouldn’t have it any other way!

This may be the cutest pair ever! While Finn has had a rough start, his parents can rest easy knowing Brutus will always be there for him.
