Entire Freeway Comes To A Stop To Help Woman Save Frightened Dog In Fresno, California

A woman stands in the middle of a busy freeway. She bends down, getting ready to pick up a dog.

Sitting in traffic is the worst. Unfortunately for those who live in Fresno, California, traffic is also rather common. But a recent incident proved that, sometimes, there are pretty great reasons for every car on the freeway to come to a screeching halt. When this recently happened on 41 south, a driver took notice of a woman getting out of her vehicle. This must have looked strange at first, but soon the driver realized why she was doing it: to rescue a dog.

This was not the kind rescuer’s dog. Instead, it was a lost and clearly shaken up pup who desperately needed help. Thankfully, all the nearby drivers approved of this rescue mission. Instead of getting impatient or trying to move past the woman, they waited as she brought the dog back to her own vehicle. Check out this heartwarming moment in the video below!

“That’s a hero and example of a beautiful human,” a commenter writes, another adding, “Can we all take a moment and appreciate every single vehicle that stayed still and quiet while she saved this baby!? Faith in humanity restored!”
