Within a short time, the puck slammed into the Plexiglass safety wall in front of the three Mannings. The daughter on Eli’s left flinched very slightly. His other daughter flinched, moving her hands up to protect her face. With the Plexiglas shield, the threat is non-existent, but reflexes are hard to overcome in that situation. Both girls acted on their reflexes.

Meanwhile, the daughter on Eli’s left is as cool as a cucumber. She only flinched slightly. While her Dad is still trying to uncoil his 6’5″ frame, she is ready to return to watching the game.
We hope these two young women remember this outing and tease their Dad for eternity. After his lecture about the importance of not flinching, he deserves some good-natured ribbing. Ahhhh… the joys of parenting.
