Woman Reunites With Wonderful Doctor Who Delivered Her — To Have Baby Of Her Own!

Dr. Bryan Cox of San Antonio, Texas, is someone who truly loves what he does.

The 63-year-old has been a practicing OB-GYN for 33 years now and couldn’t be happier in his dream career. From connecting with patients to welcoming newborns into the world, he enjoys every second on the job. That’s what made him so memorable to Lauren Cortez, whom he delivered 25 years ago!

“My mom always spoke to me about how caring he was,” Lauren told Today. “He builds a really strong connection with you where you feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend.”

He even keeps up with his patients decades after last seeing them! When Bryan heard Lauren was pregnant with her first child, he asked if she would do him the honor of letting him deliver her baby. She loved the idea!

On July 26, Lauren gave birth to a precious little boy named Logan. Two days later, she shared an adorable photo of Bryan holding her as a baby beside one of him and Logan on Twitter and immediately melted the hearts of thousands.

As it turns out, Lauren isn’t the first to have this experience with Bryan!

“I came to find out later that he’s done this before. He’s delivered generations of families,” she said. “I think that says a lot about him and how passionate he is about his job.”

But the way Bryan sees it, “It’s one of the few fields where you get to just soak up happiness.”

What’s more, he goes above and beyond to make his patients feel comfortable and cared for!

His mother and grandmother sew robes for them, and he gives every new mom a bunny onesie for her baby during her postpartum checkup. Could he be more thoughtful?

What a beautiful story for Lauren to tell her son one day! It’s obvious how much Bryan cares about all the patients who trust him with their health, and clearly they couldn’t ask for a better doctor!
