Alan Bersten is a dynamo on the dance floor, and fans love him on Dancing with the Stars. Alan competed in nine seasons and won the Mirror Ball Trophy with the help of partner Hannah Brown. He came close during season 33, but ultimately, he and Ilona Maher came in second. He must have a favorite with that many partners, right? Dancing With The Stars has given Alan Bersten some fabulous partners. He’s cut a rug with Debbie Gibson, Mirai Nagasu, Alexis Ren, Hannah Brown, Skai Jackson, Amanda Kloots, Jessie James Decker, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Ilona Maher. They’ve all been fantastic, but Alan says his dog, Jeff, is his favorite dance partner.

Alan Bersten Brings His “Dancing With The Stars” Skills Home
While he’s not on Dancing With the Stars, Alan Bersten is home teaching Jeff a few steps.
He told Parade that Jeff, an adopted Brussels Griffon, brings him great joy.
“Not only has he, obviously, calmed me down and brought so much extra joy to my life, but he also brings a responsibility,” Alan said. “One of the hardest but rewarding things was traveling with him on tour. I cared more about his bags and his toys and his food and his little crate, I just want to make sure that he is always safe, more than me. I don’t know what my life would be like without him anymore.”
Alan Bersten partnered with Cesar to teach Jeff the Cesar Spin, something Dancing With The Stars fans can do with their dogs to win prizes.
“Jeff and I worked tirelessly to get it,” Alan said. “He’s a quick learner, but we want everyone to try it with their pups. There’s a sweepstake on TikTok and on Instagram called the Cesar Spin.
