One P.E. teacher figured out a creative new way to keep his students active while also doing something for the environment! On Wednesdays, Sam Balto gets kids to ride their bikes to school with him instead of getting a ride or taking the bus. Over 100 kids show up to the weekly event! They jokingly call their impressive lineup of bicycles a “bike bus.”
By getting his students up and exercising in the morning, Sam is helping them form healthy habits for the future. He’s also instilling in them a sense of responsibility toward the planet. Kudos to this awesome teacher for being such an inspiration to his class!
