In this absolutely adorable video, the baby clouded leopard immediately tried climbing onto the small Christmas tree. However, he quickly found that its branches weren’t big or strong enough to hold him, so he ended up tumbling to the ground! This didn’t stop him from continuing to play with his new toy, though. Watching this critter interact with his Christmas tree is sure to make you smile!
Even though the baby clouded leopard couldn’t climb the fir tree, he still found ways to entertain himself with it. He seemed to enjoy batting at the branches with his paws and chewing on any area he could reach with his teeth! All in all, it seems like this little animal had an excellent holiday.
“It’s our baby clouded leopard’s first Christmas and here’s how he celebrated with his very own Christmas tree,” wrote Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo in their caption.
As it turns out, this playful kitty wasn’t the only animal to receive holiday decorations. In another post, the zoo revealed that many of their critters got their own Christmas trees! This heart-melting video shows how each of the animals reacted to having an evergreen in their enclosure. Some of them regarded the fir trees with cautious interest, while others dove in headfirst!
We’re so glad to see that these animals had a good Christmas. They deserve to experience holiday joy, too!
