Blind Baby Snow Leopard Greets Zoo Guests For The 1st Time.

It's this baby snow leopard's first time out!

Last September, the Como Park Zoo in Minnesota introduced a very special resident to the public for the first time. Willow is a blind baby snow leopard, and she’s already stealing hearts with her adorable personality! During her presentation to zoo guests, she made sure to remain close to her mom, Alya. However, the zoo’s website tells us that the sweet cub “seems to love exploring.”

According to Como Friends, Willow was born without certain necessary eye tissue, which means that there’s no cure for her condition. Dr. Melissa Lively, a veterinary ophthalmologist, says that the baby leopard will still be able to live a full and happy life!

“Because she’s never had vision, she’s never known anything different, and she’ll be able to do everything a normal snow leopard cub could do,” she explained.
