Mini donkeys are always a joy to watch, but it is hilarious when a baby donkey gets the zoomies. Stella is the daughter of Pepper. Pepper is four years old and never gets the zoomies. Stella might be trying to make up for that rift because she seems to be in constant zoomie mode.

After being trapped in the barn for two days due to inclement weather, baby donkey Stella finally gets out to stretch her legs. Running laps around the barn appears to be her favorite pastime. Stella was born on April 9, 2025. Based on the number of videos posted by her human Mom, Chelsea Caldwell, this baby donkey has not stopped having the zoomies since then.
The Caldwells have a small animal farm with a couple of horses and the mini donkeys. Pepper does not run. She meanders smartly from place to place as her energetic offspring runs circles around her. She is not bothered by the little speedster. According to recent estimates, the baby donkey’s zoomies equate to 500 miles daily.
Watching Stella zoom around the yard is the best cure for the blues. Her joy at being alive and running is infectious and floods the observer with dopamine.
