We’ve seen everything from a trick shot prodigy to a freestyle rapper on Steve Harvey’s Little Big Shots. The show takes extremely talented kids from all around the country and puts them on stage to show us how it’s done.
For this specific episode, Steve brings on 6-year-old Akash. His skill? Spelling! In the clip, the host goes up against his tiny challenger in a three-word spelling bee. You might be able to predict the end result.
But, I’ll tell you what happens anyways… Harvey gets totally dominated by Akash! What’s even better is the little boy’s trash talk in between rounds. It’s priceless. Though Harvey acts a bit baffled and upset by the loss, it’s clear that Harvey is truly impressed by this young boy’s talent.
Rather than storm off the stage in defeat, Harvey throws Akash over his shoulder and encourages praise from the crowd.
I don’t want to give away too much, but the winning word will totally blow you away. In fact, it’s likely you’ve never even heard of the word or have no idea how to pronounce it (just like Harvey!).
