It’s been a heck of a year for McDonald’s fans. We’ve seen the return of some favorite menu items like McCrispy Strips. Uncle O’Grimacey came out of retirement in March to launch the Shamrock Shake. And, of course, the President of McDonald’s USA, Joe Erlinger, announced that at the end of 2024, we will have the Snack Wrap back in our hot little hands in 2025. When? Well, that’s still under wraps, if you will, but McDonald’s does have another treat in store for fans. According to Instagrammer Mouth Attack, a McDonald’s in Houston has a Blueberry McGriddle on the menu as a test run, and it sounds delicious.

Fans In Washington D.C. Tried The McDonald’s Blueberry McGriddle In 2019
The Blueberry McGriddle was featured in D.C. McDonald’s restaurants a few years back in a different form.
“Those sandwiches combined real blueberries with the signature maple-flavored griddle cakes, offering a sweet and savory breakfast option,” Mouth Attack explained.
We could see the McDonald’s Blueberry McGriddle in a few more locations soon.
“While the Blueberry McGriddle is currently in a limited testing phase, its appearance in Houston suggests McDonald’s is exploring broader consumer interest in this fruity twist on a breakfast favorite. If the test proves successful, the Blueberry McGriddle could see a wider release in the future,” the post reads.
Fans can’t wait to try it.
“I love blueberries waffles this probably good,” one wrote.
This fan loved the Blueberry McGriddles when they lived in D.C., “Used to be Good. I live in DC WE. HAD THESE.”
But, of course, someone had to bring up the Snack Wrap. “Here we go again! Releasing everything but the snack wraps…”
