John Stamos Is Unrecognizable In New Photos

John Stamos Hair

A 24-year-old John Stamos made all the girls go crazy as Uncle Jesse Katsopolis on Full House when the sitcom premiered in 1987. One of Uncle Jesse’s most prized possessions was his hair. Touching his well-coiffed mane was definitely a hair don’t. It’s been a few years since Full House went off the air, but at 61, John Stamos still has a very impressive head of thick, luscious hair. He’s still acting and playing the drums and just enjoying his life. He recently took on the role of Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. Fans can’t believe his new look.

John Stamos Swapped His Typically Stylish Hair For A Wacky Wig

If you’ve seen Superstar, you know that Herod is the only comic relief in the show. The over-the-top character is often played by someone wearing an equally flashy costume. John Stamos wore a wig for his portrayal of Herod, and fans can’t handle him with curly hair.

“What an unforgettable night under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl, 24 hours to step into the jeweled madness of King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar — and performing it for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself,” John shared in part. “No pressure, right? Sharing the stage with the electrifying@cynthiaerivo and the unstoppable @adamlambert was a total masterclass.”

John Stamos added a bit of a jab at another star with curly hair.

“This show is pure rock opera magic, and to do it in a venue like@thehollywoodbowl, for one of the

greatest composers of our time, is something I’ll never forget,” he shared on

Instagram. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take off my @howardstern wig and come down from the glitter high.”

“It’s giving Old uncle Jesse in full house,” a fan wrote.

“Stern wig! Hah! CONGRATS,” another person laughed at John Stamos’ new hair.

“You were wonderful! Didn’t miss a beat,” Kristin Chenoweth commented.

“Holy cow I wish we could have seen you, “a fan shared.
